Effective 8 January 2026, CIDB has implemented MyDigital ID login for the CIMS system for all Green Card processes including new registration and renewal.

Renewal:

- • Faster process (7-14 days)

New Application:
- • Card expired more than 6 months
- • Data deleted from system
- • Longer process (21-30 days)
- • Standard fees + penalty
Special Case: Expired Green Card

Expired Less Than 6 Months:
- ✅ Can still renew (with penalty)
- ✅ May have penalty
- ✅ Same process as normal renewal
- ✅ Additional document: Explanation letter
Expired More Than 6 Months:
