    Frequently Asked Questions About CIDB Contractor License

    G1 Contractor License registration costs RM 500 for first-time PPK Certificate. This includes document processing and CIDB follow-up.

    1-year license is cheaper but requires annual renewal. 2-3 year licenses are more cost-effective in the long run and less hassle for renewals.

    Yes, as long as the CIDB technical personnel requirements for the target grade are met.

    SCORE is only mandatory if contractors want to Register SPKK or Renew PPK & SPKK only. Renew SPKK requires 2 Stars for G2 to G4 and 3 Stars for G5 to G7. For G1, Renewal requires MCORE not SCORE. Register G1 does not need MCORE.

    Standard processing time is 2-3 weeks for new registration and 1-2 weeks for renewal. Duration may vary depending on document completeness and license grade.
