What are EP2B Restrictions?

EP2B (E-Personnel Monitoring) is a CIDB system to monitor the status of construction workers registered under a contractor company.

EP2B restrictions occur when there are issues with worker status such as workers who have resigned, absconded, returned to their home country, or deceased but are still registered under the company.

These restrictions can prevent the company from performing certain transactions in the CIDB system until the issue is resolved.

EP2B Restriction Release Categories

1. Still Working

Worker is still actively employed with the company

Documents Required:

Construction Personnel Registration Slip that is still ACTIVE

2. Resigned / Returned Home

Worker has resigned or returned to home country

Documents Required:

  • Exit Memo, OR
  • Official Permit Cancellation Receipt
  • Permit Cancellation Name List

3. Absconded

Worker has absconded/run away

Documents Required:

  • Official Permit Cancellation Receipt
  • Permit Cancellation Name List
  • Permit Cancellation Confirmation Slip

4. Deceased

Worker has passed away

Documents Required:

  • Death Certificate from JPN, OR
  • Police Report (Company Name, Worker, Passport No.)
  • Statutory Declaration
