What is CIDB SCORE Certificate?
The Contractor Capability and Capacity Assessment Program (SCORE) is a specialized program developed by CIDB in collaboration with SME Corp to measure the capability and capacity of local and foreign contractors in Malaysia.
This program aims to enhance the image of the construction industry in line with the Construction Industry Transformation Programme (CITP), aligned with the thrust of 'Enhancing Quality, Safety and Professionalism of the Construction Industry'.
SCORE is open to all contractors Grade G2 to G7 registered with CIDB and with valid registration status.
SCORE Objectives
- Provide recognition to contractors with capability and capacity
- Identify performance gaps and help improve contractor capabilities
- Develop industry profile to identify contractor capability levels
- Assist clients in selecting qualified contractors
- Advantage in government tender evaluation (JKR projects over RM10 million)
7 SCORE Assessment Parameters
SCORE assessment uses 7 key parameters with a total of 210 marks. Each parameter is worth 30 marks.
